ELIGIBILITY:
2008 Members of the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation who finished in the top five (5) at the Metro, East or West Area Championships. In addition any member who won at least four (4) Metro or West Ewing Automotive GMC Medalist Tour events; Four (4) Ewing Automotive Buick Prep Tour events (Coed 7-9, Boys 10-11 and Girls 10-11 only); Two (2) East Ewing Automotive GMC Medalist Tour events; or two (2) Ewing Autohaus Mercedes-Benz Masters Tour events will qualify for the Ewing Automotive Tour Championship.
AGE DIVISIONS:
Coed 7-9; Girls 10-11; Boys 10-11; Boys 12-13; Boys 14-15; Boys 16-18; Girls 12-14 and Girls 15-18. Players must compete in the age group that represents their age as of August 18, 2008 regardless of what age division they qualified in for the Ewing Automotive Tour Championship.
FORMAT:
36-hole stroke play tournament for players ages 12-18 (18 holes each day); 18-hole stroke play tournament for players ages 7-11 (9 holes each day). Players’ ages 12-18 will be competing on Stonebridge Ranch CC – Dye on Monday, August 18 and Stonebridge Ranch CC – Hills (Chisholm/Cimmarron) on Tuesday, August 19. Players ages 7-11 will be competing on Stonebridge Ranch CC – Hills (Saddleback) on both Monday, August 18 and Tuesday, August 19.
ENTRY FEE:
$125.00. Tournament entry fee includes green fees, range balls, tee gifts and lunch following play each day.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
Friday, August 15 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. Entry forms shall be returned to the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier or in person prior to the entry deadline. Online sign up is also available at http://juniorgolf.ntpga.org.
REFUNDS:
All refund requests must be made prior to the entry deadline, after which refunds will not be granted. NOTE: A $10.00 administrative fee will be charged should a player withdraw from the event.
STARTING TIMES:
Starting times and groupings will be emailed out to all players by the Northern Texas PGA. Starting times will also be available by calling Stonebridge Ranch Country Club Dye and Hills courses or check http://juniorgolf.ntpga.org after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16.
DRESS CODE:
Proper golf attire is required of all contestants during the Ewing Automotive Tour Championship and any applicable practice rounds. Contestants shall present a neat appearance, appropriate to the game of golf. Denim clothing shall not be worn at the tournament site. Bermuda length shorts are permitted. Dress code will be strictly enforced. Please review the NTPGA Junior Golf Foundation dress code policy in the 2008 Member Handbook available at http://juniorgolf.ntpga.org.
PRACTICE ROUNDS:
Please contact Stonebridge Ranch CC – Dye and Hills courses to schedule a practice round starting time. Practice rounds will be available any time Monday – Friday and after 2:00 p.m. on the weekends beginning on Monday, August 4. A fee of $25.00 will be charged for all practice rounds. Players may be accompanied by one guest at the standard guest rate.

The Best Western Park Suites Hotel is offering a rate of $68.00 + tax. To reserve a room at this rate you MUST call (972) 578-2243 for a reservation and state you are playing in the Northern Texas PGA Ewing Automotive Tour Championship. The hotel is located approximately 15 minutes from Stonebridge Ranch Country Club.
